Join Our Team as a Operations Manager - Construction at Epiroc!

At Epiroc USA LLC, our Parts and Service Division provides a broad range of services with the aim of maximizing customers' productivity. We focus on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training.

The Operations Manager-Construction's mission will be to protect and continue to grow the Parts and Service business and to seek the best possible internal efficiencies within the Parts and Services Division (PSD) Service Centers. While the job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people. Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual needs and motivations link to the goals is essential. By sharing responsibility for the achievement of the results, effectively delegating, and doing so in a poised and engaging way, you will successfully achieve the mission of this role.

This person will increase market share and profitability of the Aftermarket business in the Construction market by means of:



  • Acting as a leader for Epiroc USA taking a company first approach to managing and safeguarding the business for Epiroc employees, Customers, and Shareholders.
  • Ensuring customer loyalty by working towards Epiroc USA LLC providing the best product support in the business, irrespective of distribution channel, customer segment, and customer location.
  • Development and execution of strategic initiates through our direct construction locations.
  • Identifying and helping to execute business and process improvements that help to improve functional cost efficiency and improve market contribution without sacrificing profitable revenue growth.
  • Personally demonstrate a clear and visible leadership, internally throughout the Epiroc USA LLC organization, as well as with customers.


Develop all of these areas in a close but balanced cooperation with other business lines, sales, service center personnel, district teams, and central support, based on solid customer input.

Work Type:

More than 50% travel to customer locations. It is required for the role that the candidate's location should be either near to one of Epiroc's Service Center or international airport.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $155,997 and $204,466 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards. This role is also eligible for variable compensation.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage construction service center P&L responsibilities with complete understanding of KPI's
  • Positive customer satisfaction development, utilizing the KPI's provided with NPS survey results
  • Support to the Sales and Marketing organization with business development via continuous collaboration
  • Service Center aftermarket and consumable business development
  • Leadership with a heavy focus on employee development. A sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated by understanding their individual needs is the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication and decision-making processes
  • Execute processes of full employee life cycle (i.e. recruiting, onboarding, performance management, responsible feedback, training and development, and other HR metrics) and use strategic vision to create appropriate succession plans supporting the Epiroc Way
  • Demonstrate excellence in development and execution of strategy while assuming responsibility for risk. This may include involving others in the decision-making process so that it is collaborative and cooperative



Requirements:



  • Minimum bachelor's degree or extensive relevant experience in the mining and construction business
  • 10 years of experience in the US construction and mining industries, preferably with a background from direct sales, as well as distributor management and product management
  • Proven background in managing and directing multiple locations across several states
  • Proven background in supporting and managing parts and service sales through distributor partners
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to show empathy based on natural warmth and enthusiasm
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Work, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • Maturity to be able to work with and also get things done through non-reporting colleagues
  • Ability to promote always a positive and safe working environment both with co-workers and customers
  • Travel domestically and occasional international travel forms part of the daily job of this position
