Overview

As an Electrical Engineer II, the individual works alongside a team of electrical engineers with varying experience levels. Operating within a multidisciplinary department alongside mechanical, aerospace, and systems engineering, this position actively contributes to the design process from initial concept through customer acceptance. The role is structured for professional growth, offering a clear pathway to progress into higher levels of engineering responsibility.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

    Electrical design, testing, and analysis related to various aircraft
  • Electronic hardware design, troubleshooting, and implementation of military / commercial equipment.
  • Hardware design for digital and analog circuits
  • Hardware design for AC and DC power circuits
  • Schematic and documentation capture using CAD tools and Microsoft Office
  • Select and qualify components to meet performance, environmental, and reliability requirements
  • Participate in design verification and validation, including test planning and execution
  • Provides design support for installation, testing, and customer verification
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of design related issues
  • Operate electronic test equipment
  • Support configuration management activities associated with the design release process


Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in electrical design or similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting military rotary / fixed wing programs
  • Familiarity with digital communication standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC, Ethernet)
  • Experience with configuration control and formal change management processes

Additional Information:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required
  • Occasional travel may be required in support of testing or customer activities
