Group: Bridge

Position: Team Lead

Location: Dallas, Austin, or Round Rock, TX

We are seeking a Team Leader to provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for a specialized bridge design team within the Bridge Group. The Team Leader manages daily operations, project execution, and staff development while supporting group-wide goals related to quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experienced bridge design professional with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.



Responsibilities

    Lead and manage a project team responsible for bridge design and production.
  • Oversee project execution, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to allocate resources effectively.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables.
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.
  • Assist Group Leaders with business development and proposal efforts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in bridge design and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop project teams.
  • Working knowledge of DOT and municipal standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
