IT Support Specialist - Grafton, WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for an IT Support Specialist at our Grafton, WI facility.

Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for office and plant-floor users
- Support manufacturing systems, including production PCs, scanners, label printers, and HMIs
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, printers, and standard business applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches)
- Support manufacturing-related software systems
- Coordinate with managed service providers as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support tickets
- Participate in system upgrades, equipment rollouts, and IT projects
- Follow company IT policies, security standards, and safety requirements

Required Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a production-driven
environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with industrial hardware, barcode scanners, and label printers
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.)
