The Electrician is responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the pellet mill facility. This includes troubleshooting and maintaining motors, wiring, control systems, lighting, and electrical panels. The role ensures the plant operates safely and efficiently while complying with all electrical codes and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and control panels. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and plant safety regulations in all electrical work. Production & Support - Respond quickly to electrical issues affecting production and restore operation safely. Qualification Requirements
Requires a level of knowledge normally gained with a high school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of industrial electrical experience required, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry. Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and applicable safety practices for industrial electrical systems. Experience with 480V systems, 3-phase motors, VFDs, and control circuits. Must be able to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for electrical systems. Physical Requirements
Up to 50 pounds of weight lifting/force exertion required Weight/Force exertion required up to 50% Must be able to work in dusty, hot, cold, and loud industrial environments. Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights above 6 feet, and enter confined spaces using proper PPE. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift. For employment within the United States, the W.C.
