Senior Living Advisors are responsible for meeting census goals by building relationships with prospective residents and families, guiding them through a structured sales process. They identify prospects' motivations, assess social and financial needs, coordinate clinical assessments when needed, and recommend the best program fit. Advisors must clearly communicate Luther Manor's value and differentiators across the care continuum during tours, consultations, and presentations. They also partner with team members to ensure excellent customer satisfaction while supporting Luther Manor's mission of enriching the lives of older adults.This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective time management, the ability to multitask, and consistent follow-through. The advisor must be proactive yet collaborative, willing to cross-train, and demonstrate flexibility, dependability, and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  1. Represent Luther Manor with professionalism and a high level of customer service at all times to prospective residents and referral sources alike.
  2. Follow established sales processes to meet and exceed budgeted occupancy goals in each program care area.
  3. Follow-up and nurture hot, warm and cold leads, cultivate relationships with prospects and referral sources, conduct tours, make presentations to individuals, families, and congregations, and assist prospects through the process of completing application and contracting paperwork.
  4. Gather, evaluate and assess prospects' social, financial, and clinical (with support) state in order to match their needs with the appropriate offering within the Luther Manor continuum.
  5. Maintain confidentiality for all personal health information in accordance with HIPAA standards and regulations.
  6. Ensure consistent and high-level use of CRM system as a selling tool, keeping detailed information on prospects and activities on a daily basis.
  7. Collaborate with program leaders and the marketing team in the development of sales and marketing collateral for the Luther Manor campus.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payer sources and other regulations that apply to some of the Luther Manor living areas.
  9. Partner with Chief Marketing Officer to calendar events and campaigns to generate leads and prospects.
  10. Schedule time to host and attend marketing meetings as necessary - including after-hours or weekend events, tours, and appointments with prospects and their families.
  11. Follow policy and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Human Resources Manual and Resident Rights, and adhere to safety rules.
  12. Provide continuous improvement feedback to Chief Marketing Officer related to barriers to entry, customer service, and resident/employee safety.
  13. Stay abreast of market trends and the competitive environment.
  14. Maintain brand integrity in all internal and external communications.
  15. Consistently organize and update shared files for team use with a focus on keeping CRM data detailed and current.
  16. Work within the established budget and project schedules.
  17. Cross-train with other members of the team as needed, including assisting with events.
  18. Other duties as assigned.
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. May consider equivalent training and experience.
  2. Natural curiosity to explore prospect motivational needs and unspoken requirements.
  3. Ability to be patient, informative and sensitive to the needs of older adults and their families.
  4. Excellent listening and conversational skills - both on the telephone and in person.
  5. Willingness to learn and adhere to new processes.
  6. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, including accuracy in MS Office, Google apps and CRM software applications.
  7. Demonstrated successful track record in referral conversion skills.
  8. Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions. This includes prioritizing, staying organized, and flexing with prospects, as needed.
  9. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and electronically with a variety of people, including staff, residents, volunteers, donors, congregations and community members of various ages, backgrounds and abilities.
  10. Interest and desire to work within a faith-based organization.
  11. Physically able to move about and conduct tours throughout a large 19-acre campus.
