*Description*
We are hiring for a Patient Services Advocate to join our St. Louis, MO team. Responsible for completing the patient registration process for dental services by collecting demographic information, determining appropriate fees and collection of payment. Function as liaison between dental students and patients. The main tasks will be accepting referrals, scheduling appointments, verifying dental codes and confirming appointments. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 1. Two (2) years experience in a health care setting or related field; dental experience strongly preferred 2. Two (2) years experience in customer service. Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position: 1. Good computer skills including the use of word processing and e-mail software. 2. Knowledge of Third Party Reimbursement required. 3. Ability to accurately register and interview clients. 4. Ability to read and interpret materials. 5. Ability to use initiative; be detail oriented, and flexible. 6. Good oral and written communication, customer service, organizational and mathematical skills. 7. Ability to use a 10 key calculator and credit card machine. 8. Capable of preparing daily bank deposits. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
