Director of AI Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI-driven healthcare products. This role will define and deliver solutions that leverage machine learning, generative AI, and predictive analytics to improve patient outcomes, enhance provider efficiency, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

You will partner with engineering, data science, clinical experts, and compliance teams to build trustworthy, scalable, and secure AI products that meet the unique challenges of healthcare.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define the AI product vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals and healthcare market trends
    • Build and manage a portfolio of AI products (e.g., clinical decision support, patient engagement, predictive analytics)
    • Drive innovation in GenAI applications for clinical documentation, summarization, and patient communication
  • Product Roadmap & Execution
    • Develop and maintain multi-year product roadmaps for AI solutions
    • Prioritize features based on clinical impact, regulatory compliance, and ROI
    • Partner with TPMs and engineering to ensure timely delivery and quality
  • Healthcare AI Expertise
    • Translate clinical workflows and pain points into AI product requirements
    • Ensure solutions comply with HIPAA, HITECH, FDA AI/ML guidelines, and other healthcare regulations
    • Implement Responsible AI principles: fairness, explainability, bias mitigation, and auditability
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with clinical leaders, payers, providers, and internal teams to gather insights and validate solutions
    • Communicate product vision and progress to executives and external partners
  • Team Leadership
    • Build and mentor a team of AI product managers
    • Establish best practices for AI product lifecycle, including model evaluation and monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in product management, with 5+ years in AI/ML and healthcare
  • Proven track record of launching AI-powered healthcare products
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and interoperability
  • Familiarity with ML fundamentals, GenAI, and MLOps practices
  • Solid knowledge of HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, and secure architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, or related field; MBA
  • Experience with FDA regulatory pathways for AI/ML and clinical validation
  • Hands-on exposure to Python, healthcare AI frameworks, and model explainability tools
  • Familiarity with payer/provider systems, EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner), and population health analytics

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
