STREETS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I - $51,489 69,511 ABOUT THIS POSITION - The Town of Basalt is accepting applications for a Streets Maintenance Technician I. This opportunity is one of three positions with our Streets Department. This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment while assisting with the construction, maintenance and repair of Town streets and property. The successful candidate possesses a team-oriented, collaborative, and organized working style, with excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain positive relationships, and responsiveness to the community. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Experience with street maintenance, lawn and park maintenance required. Knowledge of operating various heavy equipment preferred but not required. Valid Colorado drivers license required. Valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement and CDOT Flagger Certification or must have ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. The hiring range for the Streets Maintenance Technician I is $51,489 $69,511 with salary commensurate to experience. This is a non-exempt position. Housing may be available in a town-owned unit.
