SS&C is seeking an accounting professional with experience in private markets fund accounting who is interested in applying their expertise in a systems implementation environment. In this role, you will support the onboarding and configuration of private equity clients onto SS&C's private markets technology platform. Leveraging your accounting knowledge and understanding of fund structures, you will help translate operational and financial requirements into system configurations that support accurate accounting, reporting, and investor activity.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in private equity or alternative investment accounting who are interested in expanding their skillset into accounting systems implementation and platform onboarding.

• Accounting Platform Implementation

• Support the onboarding of private equity clients onto SS&C's private markets platform by translating fund accounting requirements into system configurations.

• Configure fund structures, investor allocations, capital activity workflows, and reporting outputs to align with client accounting and operational models.

• Ensure system configurations accurately support accounting activities including capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, and financial reporting.

Fund Accounting & Operational Alignment

• Apply knowledge of private equity fund accounting to ensure accurate setup of funds, investors, and financial structures within the platform.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand accounting workflows and ensure the system supports required operational processes.

• Review and validate system outputs to ensure accounting accuracy and alignment with client expectations.

Fund Accounting & Operational Alignment

• Apply knowledge of private equity fund accounting to ensure accurate setup of funds, investors, and financial structures within the platform.

Data Migration & Validation

• Assist with the migration of historical accounting and investor data from legacy systems into SS&C's platform.

• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting or transaction data during the onboarding process.

Client Support During Implementation

• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to support the successful onboarding of private equity funds onto the platform.

• Provide guidance on system functionality related to fund accounting, reporting, and investor activity.

• Support testing activities and help ensure the platform accurately reflects client accounting structures and operational requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

• 6-10 years of experience in private equity or alternative investment fund accounting

• Experience working within a fund administrator, institutional investor, or asset manager

• Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, capital activity, and financial reporting

• Interest in working with accounting systems, implementations, or financial technology platforms

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with FIS Investran or other private equity accounting platforms preferred

• CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus
