You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge automation, crafting new microservices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, and championing the strategic adoption of public cloud environments across the enterprise. Your contributions will directly enhance agility, reliability, and performance, ensuring the organization remains at the technological vanguard.

**What You'll Do:**

* Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of advanced cloud services within public cloud environments, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.

* Execute end-to-end engineering tasks, encompassing development, analysis, configuration, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, and health monitoring/alerting.

* Develop and maintain Infrastructure-As-Code within approved pipelines, adhering to best practices and enterprise standards.

* Design and implement robust cloud automation solutions to streamline manual tasks, improving speed and consistency in provisioning, service enablement, and guardrail implementation.

* Identify and seize opportunities to optimize the cloud environment, translating tactical recommendations into strategic plans through cross-functional collaboration.

* Define and implement technical requirements for cloud solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies.

* Architect sophisticated cloud deployment automation workflows and provide expert analysis and resolution for infrastructure issues.

* Configure and optimize cloud-based compute, storage, and networking resources to ensure peak efficiency, availability, and performance.

* Implement comprehensive monitoring systems for cloud operations, strictly adhering to security protocols and compliance requirements.

* Collaborate seamlessly with engineering teams to ensure flawless integration between infrastructure services and higher-level platform services, empowering software development teams to innovate effectively.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* A strong background as a software engineer with a deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, particularly within cloud environments.

* Proven experience with DevOps methodologies and practices.

* Proficiency in Python and Go programming languages.

* Hands-on experience with Terraform.

* Full-stack software development experience, including GoLang, Python, and/or Javascript (using the Vue framework).

* Intermediate level knowledge of CI/CD DevOps and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Github, GitHub Actions, and/or Puppet.

* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK.

* Understanding of API and Microservice topologies.

* Practical experience implementing cloud services and a solid grasp of cloud computing concepts.

* Experience with Serverless architecture and Container platforms.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* 3+ years of dedicated cloud/platform engineering experience.

* Demonstrated domain expertise in emerging cloud platforms, including a proactive approach to learning from research and peers, and a curiosity for new cloud services and best practices.

* Relevant certifications such as AWS Developer Associate, AWS SYSOPS Administrator Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or AWS Solutions Architect Architect.

* Knowledge of process discipline and IDLC methodology.

* Familiarity with core infrastructure technologies including Network, Database, Server, and Storage.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51 to $56. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
