Our client is seeking an experienced, subscription lifecycle marketer with a passion for media/entertainment to help grow its services. The Marketing Manager will work with a wide variety of functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, data analytics, and design. They will be responsible for creating programs that connect with customers in a privacy friendly way to drive engagement and make sure they are getting

DESCRIPTION



  • Develop and optimize engagement/retention strategies.
  • Optimize programs through A/B testing, oering ideation and development of strategic recommendations based on data driven insights and strategies to engage with customers.
  • Lead experience and design of complex customer journeys.
  • Build cross-functional relationships and plans to improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, engineering, analytics and design teams.
  • Develop a process of continuous improvement, where the results of this work are analyzed, and insights are fed back into the plans.
  • Define geo-specific narratives, value proposi8ons and service educational messaging.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS



  • Analytical problem solver with a track record of success in developing and optimizing marketing strategies and programs that drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Technical fluidness to lead development of complex customer journeys with signals, in-app placements and orchestration across engineering and operations teams.
  • Thorough understanding of integrating product, design, business, marketing, engineering and stakeholder teams to clarify program goals, strategy, and execution.
  • Outstanding cross functional team working skills with an ability to collaborate closely with other teams to solve problems and implement programs that achieve core business objectives.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong working partnerships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
  • Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Possess deep understanding of A/B testing and data driven optimization marketing.
  • Shown ability to meet deadlines and get consensus while balancing many projects and priorities.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and succinctly to both senior executives and individual contributors.


EXPERIENCE



  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, demonstrating success in achieving growth goals in user engagement and retention.
  • Experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, ideally for a media platform or a consumer subscription business.
  • Experience testing and oprmizing marketing channels including push notification, online, email and in-app messaging marketing tactics.


EDUCATION



  • BA/BS, MS/MA/MBA preferred
