Serial Life Quality Manager Coordinator

Position Overview:

This leadership role oversees and coordinates Serial Life Quality Managers within the Propulsion Systems division in North America, ensuring compliance with Stellantis quality standards, effective quality convergence, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the Serial Life Quality Managers team for North American Propulsion Systems
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the regional PRS Quality Manager representative, and with the Global SLQM community manager
  • Oversee Serial Life quality KPIs, and technical support provided by the team, ensuring the Quality convergence plan
  • Provide leadership and accountability across Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Manufacturing Quality deliverables
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships within Product Development, Engineering core teams, Quality, After-Sales, Plants, and Purchasing teams, in order to progress on processes fluency, and to mobilize support in case of crisis.
  • Implement Stellantis and PRS Serial Life Quality Management processes and tools as per global standards; drive their local adoption and continuous improvement; maintain and enhance the technical competencies of the team
  • Manage internal and external recruitments, internal career development and mobility, as well as support team training needs
  • Determine staffing requirements based on the Engineering Serial Life Product Plan, PRS footprint and workload, and headcount objectives

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or core team leadership within the automotive industry.
  • Background in engineering, vehicle/mechanical plant operations, or project teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to all organizational levels.
  • Rigorous, pragmatic, and results driven.
  • Proven leadership, accountability, and team management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills; capable of managing complex situations.
  • Advanced synthesis and communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, DFSS, 8D, Red X, 6 sigma, etc).
