Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role supports day-to-day payroll operations by processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate employee payments, maintaining payroll documentation, and reconciling payroll-related records. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced administrative or finance environment. Responsibilities * Assist with processing payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring employee hours, pay rates, and deductions are entered correctly. * Track and reconcile payroll documentation, including time records and payroll-related approvals. * Prepare and distribute payments (e.g., checks or direct deposit confirmations) in accordance with established procedures. * Resolve payroll discrepancies by researching issues, verifying supporting documentation, and coordinating corrections. * Maintain organized payroll files and ensure proper recordkeeping for audits and compliance needs. * Provide customer support to employees regarding payroll questions, pay statements, and basic payroll processes. * Support the finance/HR team with payroll reporting and administrative tasks as needed. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
