What You'll Do Under the direction of an RN or LPN, you will: Assist with individualized patient care to help each child achieve their highest level of wellness Perform designated clinical procedures and essential non-clinical support tasks Collaborate as part of a strong, compassionate care team Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment for patients and families ???? Education & Requirements High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a high school-based healthcare career program Nursing students are highly encouraged to apply Current Mercy co-workers are also eligible Experience No experience required! If you're new to healthcare, Mercy provides a 175-hour state-approved training program as part of your orientation (must be completed within 90 days of hire). Certifications BLS required within one month of hire Completion of PCA competencies within 3 months ???? Physical Requirements This role requires: Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly Prolonged standing and walking Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to meet patient needs ????
