    Who You Are...

    As Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for leading the Company's controllership function and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company's accounting records and financial close processes. Reporting to the SVP, Finance & Accounting, this role owns the monthly close, balance sheet governance, and execution of accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP, while maintaining an effective internal control environment. The Corporate Controller partners across other corporate departments, operational finance, and other operational stakeholders to strengthen accounting discipline, drive process standardization, support audit readiness, and provide reliable financial information to support internal and external reporting requirements.

    Some examples of the work you might do includes:



    • Leads the Company's controllership function and ensures accounting records, financial close activities, and supporting schedules are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
    • Owns and continuously improves the Company's monthly close process, including close calendar management, journal entry governance, and adherence to established closing checklists and deadlines.
    • Ensures consistent accounting policies, procedures, and governance across other corporate departments, operational finance, and other operational stakeholders, including standardization and compliance with approval requirements and internal controls.
    • Manages key technical accounting areas impacting the close and financial statements, including, but not limited to, revenue recognition, project accounting, reserves/accruals, lease accounting, fixed assets, and purchase accounting for acquisitions.
    • Oversees account reconciliations and balance sheet governance, ensuring integrity of reported balances and timely resolution of reconciling items.
    • Oversees preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
    • Supports in the preparation and review of financial statement footnote support and schedules for Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other SEC filings.
    • Supports quarterly review and annual audit activities, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
    • Provides oversight of the centralized payroll function through management of the Director of Payroll, ensuring effective payroll governance, controls, and accounting support.
    • Leverages technology to build scalable and sustainable financial processes to create efficiencies and improve financial statement accuracy.
    • Assists in the Company's SOX/internal controls program, including control design, execution oversight, documentation, testing coordination, and remediation of deficiencies.
    • Assesses all new accounting pronouncements for applicability to the Company, determines related impacts, and coordinates compliance efforts appropriately.
    • Oversees accounting support and reporting for corporate SG&A departments, including monthly spend reporting and budget-to-actual variance support as needed.
    • Oversees treasury and cash management activities, including banking controls, cash forecasting, and related accounting and reconciliation oversight.
    • Supports acquisition accounting, integration, and system migration efforts, including purchase accounting, financial due diligence support, and coordination with Operations Finance and IT for integration into Viewpoint.


    What You Need...



    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    • 10+ years of relevant experience (Big 4 preferred and/or public company accounting).
    • Strong experience with:

      • Public company close and financial reporting support under U.S. GAAP.
      • Technical accounting.
      • SOX/internal controls execution.
      • External audit management (PCAOB environment).


    • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
    • Capacity to work independently and under limited supervision.
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.


      Preferred Qualifications:



      • Experience with revenue recognition under the percentage-of-completion method for a construction or engineering company is not required, but it will be viewed as a strong plus.

      Work Environment:



      • This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.


      Physical Demands:



      • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
      • This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
