Title: Information Technology - Data Sciences Intern

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview: The IT Intern supporting Data Sciences supports data-driven decision-making by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and documentation that transform raw data into actionable insights.

Role Focus: Data analysis, reporting, and analytics support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with data collection, cleansing, and validation

* Support development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations

* Help document data definitions, sources, and analytics processes

* Assist with basic querying or scripting under supervision

* Support data governance and data quality initiatives

Skills Developed: Data analysis fundamentals, reporting tools, data visualization, data governance concepts.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required.

* Must be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

* Basic understanding of IT concepts, such as programming languages, database management, and cybersecurity

* Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to interact professionally with company personnel

* Adaptable to new technologies and new situations

* Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage your workload effectively

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong desire to learn and improve your skills

* Must be at least 18 years of age
