Join our team as a Regional Maintenance Manager at Gorman & Company! Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who loves solving complex building challenges, mentoring teams, and keeping large portfolios running smoothly? This is a high-impact regional role overseeing 1,700+ affordable housing units across Colorado. You'll partner closely with property leaders, guide maintenance teams, and help protect and improve our communities-while staying mobile across the portfolio. What You'll Do
Oversee maintenance operations across a multi-property portfolio of approximately 1,700 units throughout Colorado Lead, mentor, and support on-site maintenance teams to ensure strong performance, safety, and consistency Drive preventive maintenance programs, inspections, capital planning support, and corrective maintenance efforts Troubleshoot complex facilities issues and partner with vendors, contractors, and city officials as needed Support unit turns, curb appeal standards, seasonal readiness, and emergency response when needed Travel throughout the portfolio 3-4 days per week, including overnight travel
What You'll Bring
5+ years of lead or supervisory maintenance experience (multifamily strongly preferred) Strong maintenance background with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, drywall, carpentry, and general building systems Experience supporting large portfolios (1,500+ units strongly preferred) Highly organized, excellent communicator who can lead and mentor teams across the state Creative problem solver with flexibility to handle shifting priorities and complex challenges Multifamily and affordable housing experience preferred Construction, engineering, or capital project experience is a plus Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record Ability to travel throughout Colorado with overnight stays
Compensation & Benefits
