The Opportunity:

The UCF College of Nursing is currently accepting applications for a Clinical Assurance Coordinator. This position is responsible for reviewing, managing, and assuring compliance for nursing students and faculty across academic programs. This role maintains accurate documentation, monitors institutional and regulatory requirements, supports students and faculty through onboarding and compliance by partnering with students, faculty, and clinical sites.

Classification Title: Internship Experiences Coordinator I

Responsibilities:


  • Reviews and verifies student and faculty clinical compliance documentation and maintain compliance records to ensure documentation meets institutional and clinical standards.

  • Maintains and optimizes compliance tracking systems; ensures secure handling of protected health information and personally identifiable information.

  • Coordinates clinical onboarding workflows and clinical compliance to communicate outstanding requirements to students, faculty, and CON staff and administration.

  • Develops, updates, and communicates clinical compliance policies, procedures, and checklists for students, faculty, and clinical sites in collaboration with staff and administration.

  • Provides information for students and faculty on compliance requirements, documentation submission, and timelines in collaboration with staff, faculty, and administration.

  • Maintains clinical compliance data to conduct internal audits of compliance records and processes including preparation for external audits and accreditation reviews.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience managing clinical compliance, credentialing, or onboarding for healthcare students or professionals.

  • Experience in a customer service-oriented role with the ability to interact professionally and provide courteous responses to inquiries from partners and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate records and documentation across multiple programs or cohorts.

  • Experience coordinating projects and tasks, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and communicating with multiple stakeholders to ensure completion.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management, reporting, and correspondence.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong oral/written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team environment while developing highly effective and valued professional relationships with peers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The anticipated hourly rate for a well-qualified candidate is between $20.29-$24.85. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
