Physician Assistant - Urology & Men's Health (Part-Time)

Urology Associates of Central Missouri - Columbia, MO

Urology Associates of Central Missouri are seeking a Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in urology and men's health to join our growing practice. This position works under the supervision and collaboration of our urologists and is involved in the comprehensive care of patients with urologic and men's health conditions. Care may be provided in-clinic and/or via telemedicine.

This role is ideal for a PA passionate about men's health, preventive care, and patient education, including conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, prostate health, urinary disorders, and related concerns.

Schedule: Part-time; clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: 105 Keene Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with urologic and men's health conditions
  • Provide comprehensive men's health services, including prevention, screening, diagnosis, and ongoing management
  • Initiate and document appropriate interventions; evaluate and record patient responses; prescribe therapies as indicated
  • Perform urologic and men's health-related procedures with minimal supervision
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, wellness strategies, and preventive care
  • Promote wellness and recommend appropriate community and specialty resources
  • Complete charge capture and medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of reimbursement and documentation requirements
  • Support palliative and supportive care services as needed
  • Participate in staff education and quality improvement initiatives as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, regulatory standards, and the UACM Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Missouri (or eligible)
  • NCCPA certification
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Prior experience in urology and/or men's health preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
