Field Data Collection Driver - Central Texas (3Month Contract) Austin Round Rock * San Marcos Region* 40+ hrs/week \| Day, Night & Weekend Shifts (with notice) Looking for a role that gets you out on the road and working with innovative technology? We're hiring Field Data Collection Drivers for a 3month contract supporting nextgeneration mapping and advanced datacollection initiatives across Central Texas. This position is great for someone who enjoys independent work, structured procedures, and spending time behind the wheel. What Makes This Role Exciting * Work handson with advanced invehicle technology * Daily driving on preplanned routes across Central Texas * Opportunities for overtime * Occasional travel for training (including out of state) * Be part of a project that's pushing forward realworld technology innovation Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a companyprovided vehicle on public roads * Drive assigned routes to support mapping and data collection * Perform daily vehicle inspections before each shift * Follow structured driving, logging, and datacollection procedures * Run basic system checks and calibrations on equipment (training included) * Monitor invehicle systems during data runs * Coordinate routes and schedules with operations teams * Transfer collected data following documented protocols * Assist with basic equipment setup, resets, and troubleshooting * Clearly document and report issues in a timely manner Required Skills & Qualifications * Valid U.S. driver's license * Clean driving record (MVR + background check required) * Ability to drive 6-8 hours per day * Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently * Able to lift up to 25 lbs * Basic computer and technical skills * Strong communication skills * Willingness to learn new tools, devices, and processes Nice-to-Have Experience * Field operations or routebased work * Delivery driving or rideshare experience * Familiarity with invehicle systems or electronics * Interest in mapping, geospatial tech, or automotive technology Primary Coverage Area You'll operate primarily within the Austin - Round Rock - San Marcos region, with occasional longdistance driving as needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
