The Manager of Engineering of Compression EI&C serves as the asset owner and is responsible for leading a team of engineers focused on the engineering and support of the Compressor Station fleet power, instrumentation and controls assets. This role provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of engineering deliverables. The Manager will serve as the primary engineering point of contact for compression facility work, collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to align project outcomes with company goals. This role will drive operational excellence and collaborative stakeholder engagement to drive measurable impact across the gas delivery system. The Manager of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the work of an engineering team . Acts as a liaison between the engineering team and upper management, providing regular updates on project status and ensuring that everyone is on the same page with regards to goals, objectives, and other important details. The Manager of Engineering will work closely with other departments, such as operations, marketing, etc., to ensure the engineering team is meeting the needs of the Consumers Energy. Works cross functionally with other Mangers of Engineering to develop and implement new processes or procedures within the engineering department to include creating training programs for new hires, updating existing training materials, and creating systems for tracking projects, tasks, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
