Lab Support Assistant I - Tampa, FL, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Pay range: $17.75+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Lab Support Assistant I receives, organizes, and stores post-analysis samples from technical departments, and ensures that specimens are stored on a First In, First Out basis at the temperature which the technical area intended. In addition, the LS assistant will retrieve orders for specimens from storage in accordance with the Specimen Retrieval SOP.

• Must be able to accurately identify all specimen types stored in or by Lab Support.
• Organizes and processes samples in a first in, first out order.
• Differentiates between a post-analysis sample and a TIQ sample.
• Work as a team as well as independently.
• Easily juggles multiple tasks.
• Maintains productivity for both storage and specimen retrieval.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
