Summary:

The Supervisor - Case Management provides strategic, clinical, and operational supervisory leadership for a multidisciplinary case management team within an academic hospital environment. This role has direct supervisory responsibility for daily operations, staff performance, workflow oversight, and adherence to departmental standards. The Supervisor ensures the delivery of highquality, patientcentered care coordination across the continuum, drives effective utilization of healthcare resources, and maintains compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and academic mission requirements.

This is a newly created position within the department, designed to strengthen operational support and ensure consistent leadership presence. The role follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:Requires Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • License/Certifications:Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maine. Professional certification as a Case Manager preferred.
  • Experience:Five (5) years' experience in Case Management preferred. A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience preferred
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:Working knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, case management, performance improvement and managed care reimbursement preferred.Understanding of pre-acute and post-acute venues of care and post-acute community resources preferred.
