We are looking for you !

  • Annual Pay: $90-$120K/ yr on average (Pay is based on the location traveling to)

  • Schedule: Must be able to work all hours. Overnight travel is required otherwise our drivers get HOME DAILY.

  • Equipment used: Tractor-trailer with Tank, Flatbeds and Dry Vans

  • While driving Bulk gases hauled: Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Co2, etc.

  • While driving Flatbed the cylinders have various gases

  • Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, and the latest camera technology.

Our CDL A Bulk Drivers are the face of the company while safely delivering bulk gaseous products to customers on scheduled routes, both locally and regionally. In addition our drivers will use Flatbed trucks or Dry Van trucks hauling cylinders. Our ideal Driver will thrive in a positive work environment that they not just enjoy, but contribute to; we share in successes and overcome challenges together.

  • Maintain courteous and professional relationships with our customers while providing them with products and service of exceptional quality.

  • Upload, deliver, and download gases to customers' vessels in a safe manner

  • Provide Timely communication back to your distribution manager or customer's salespeople regarding any changes related to the customer.

  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and advise on any needed repairs. Have any immediate problem repaired before going on route.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements

  • Must have be able to and willing to drive a manual transmission

  • Maintain Alaska driver's license, medical card & endorsements

  • No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years

  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years

  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

  • Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

  • Must have 2 years of verifiable CDL A driving experience in the last 5 years.
