What you will accomplish as an Intelligent Transportation Systems Field / Fiber Technician at TAPCO: We are seeking a skilled ITS Technician to join our team responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of Intelligent Transportation Systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of traffic management systems, including traffic signals, dynamic message signs, cameras, network equipment and other ITS infrastructure. This position will work with contractors to install new devices, train users how to operate them, as well as perform periodic maintenance of all types of Intelligent Transportation Systems and TAPCO Made products. A background in computers and networking, AC/DC electrical systems and fiber optics is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
