This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports employee education, and partners with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver competitive and cost-effective benefit offerings. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (preferred) 2-5+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis) Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills Data, Business analysis, Requirements analysis, Agile Additional Skills & Qualifications Benefits Administration Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and voluntary benefit programs Manage open enrollment processes and system updates Oversee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and status changes Reconcile monthly vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies Compliance & Regulatory Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including: oAffordable Care Act (ACA) oEmployee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) oFamily and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) oConsolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.
