This 11-week summer internship is designed for senior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD students seeking exposure to a professional, corporate environment. The internship is project-based and designed to provide each intern clearly defined projects aligned to the hosting department's area of functional expertise and leadership at Incyte.

The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and practical application of academic knowledge while contributing to meaningful work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities include supporting the Accounting/Finance team with:
  • Various projects including the Accounting Close, new system preparation (EPM), monthly reporting and process documentation support.
  • Work closely with Finance & Accounting team members to gather information and complete the assigned project
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation summarizing the project and outcome
  • Other Ad Hoc requests and analyses as requested

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate senior currently pursuing a B.A. in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong interest in Accounting/Finance
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Strong excel skills including use of pivot tables, v-lookups and other excel functions
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations
  • Positive work ethic, excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively
