As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry and/or exit in accordance with post orders, verifying authorization and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, gathering information, and escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and incident details, and communicate shift updates to onsite management and/or incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
