As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Suffolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within a technology campus environment.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, entrances, loading and delivery areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through presence and timely reporting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate status updates to supervisors and site stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• CPR Certification - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
