SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the management of planning, inventory control, and production control activities, including the development of personnel. This position will manage the development and communication of the manufacturing and distribution schedule for all products. This position will work jointly with Purchasing to ensure adequate inventories of critical raw materials necessary for new product introduction as well as production, packaging, and distribution of existing product lines. This role requires collaboration with product and production management to ensure the optimal use of Streck's production resources, including equipment, labor, and raw materials. Also responsible for other duties assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
1.Manage the creation, maintenance, and communication of Streck's production and distribution schedule.
2.Direct the development of forecasts that support adequate inventory levels of raw materials to meet production schedules and product life cycle events.
3.Oversee the timely creation, review and posting of production orders and lot files per the production schedule.
4.Lead coordination efforts with internal stakeholders to schedule production in the event of an inventory shortage.
5.Collaborate with key private label customers to effectively meet forecasted product demands.
6.Oversee maintenance of ERP system parameters and accurate inventory control over physical movement of materials, including the maintenance of the perpetual inventory system, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
7.Review and approve departmental documents to ensure procedures and work instructions are clearly defined and insure adherence to FDA & ISO Quality Systems
8.Engage in the active review of processes and procedures and act as a lead change agent for continuous improvement.
9.Develop strategic plans for areas of responsibility and personnel development that support company objectives.
10.Participate directly in addressing employee problems in accordance with set policies and procedures.
11.Recruit, interview and hire department employees.
12.Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings and annual performance evaluations for all employees to motivate, correct, and clearly define career paths. 13. Ensure strict adherence to departmental and company safety procedures and regulations (including FDA and ISO regulations).
14.Maintain confidentiality of Streck knowledge and proprietary information.
15.Other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (preferably business, technical, or supply chain).
*Minimum of five years of purchasing, planning, or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
*Must be dependable, well organized, possess good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
*Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, forecasting and product costing operations and procedures.
*Ability to collect and analyze data as well as effectively communicate findings to management.
*Ability to use prudent judgement in various situations and make appropriate decisions within scope of responsibilities.
*Ability to anticipate potential problems, analyze existing problems and recommend both corrective and preventive action.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL DEMANDS:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 0%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and completion of presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with all travel recommendations regarding "safe travel" according to company policies and guidelines, and all federal, state, local, and international orders.

**PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
