Job Description Summary
We are looking for self-starter, enthusiastic and outgoing students to join our team at the FNBO CSU branch! If you enjoy working with and helping people while you are gaining knowledge and experience in the banking industry and want to work at the CSU campus, this is the opportunity for you!

The Intern role is accountable to develop core skills and working knowledge of FNBO business practices and operations through educational sessions, straightforward projects, and other duties requested by the manager.

Start date: May 2026
Hourly Pay: $19 an hour

About This Role:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting with Branch Banking activities both inside and outside of the branch, interacting with students, faculty, and staff at the University, along with customers from around the surrounding Greater Fort Collins area.
  • Engaging with the different segments of the bank that are outside of the normal branch setting for increased exposure to other facets of the bank. These areas would include Investments, Commercial Banking, Mortgage, Branch Banking, Marketing, etc.

Duties may include

  • Attend and participate in required internship educational sessions to develop and enhance core skills, industry knowledge, and key system and process understanding (as available)
  • Participate and/or lead the completion of assigned short-term projects within the Individual and Business Segments, as requested by manager
  • Work with manager to develop, implement and complete a development plan, intended to identify educational opportunities in the organization aligned with interests
  • Interacting face to face and virtually with our customer base both on campus and around the Organizations footprint.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Program Requirements

  • Enrolled CSU college student (undergraduate or graduate) working towards college degree in Business
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher after sophomore year
  • Possess leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a professional environment
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
