Summary of the Job:

The Associate II Market Security Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, Market Security. This role functions as a consultant or liaison between Corporate Security and other departments, and is accountable for the execution of security, safety, and risk management strategies for assigned markets through assessing, communicating, collaborating, organizing, designing, developing, training and implementing projects, programs, and processes, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

The role requires approximately 20% travel, including overnight stays and driving long distances.

About This Role:

Project Management

  • Project Workflow Provide consistent guidance and expertise relative to projects managed under assigned jurisdiction. Develop an ongoing understanding and capability for assessments, projects, and associated processes.
  • Work Orders Monitor client impact, equipment standards, and vendor implementation through work order management. Review and assign work orders and other requests from clients to maintain equipment and design strategies. Develop and maintain equipment, work, and project priory lists based on work order trending.
  • Finance & Budget: Accountable for managing spending within pre-approved parameters and/or assigned expenditures. Monitor and report budgetary adherence and variances to proper authorities. Support monthly finance meetings and provide planning details associated with Corporate Security and Safety functions. Ensure all projects are managed to the approved costs and timelines.

Environmental Risk Mitigation

  • Site Surveys: Conduct jurisdictional surveys per schedule, ensure data is timely entered to the established keeper of record and develop solution plans for findings.
  • Life Safety & Emergency Management: Assist the Safety Specialist with the development and evaluation of evacuation and life safety policies and training. Assist with process development, training, and review of Emergency Management and organizational responses. Provide and develop internal and external community outreach opportunities.
  • Threat Management Maintain awareness of incident trends to develop collaborative solutions in partnership with internal and external resources. Provide jurisdictional threat management via constant evaluation of natural and/or manmade risk or threat factors at the local or regional level. Develop procedural relationships with local LE/FD and Fusion Centers (where applicable).

Communication Management

  • Relationship Management: Engage in and develop communication with employees, customers, direct affiliates and assigned FNNI / Lauritzen branches. Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and employees in resolving various facets of employee concerns while applying security and safety values and FNN Operating Philosophy. Assists with issue resolution through proper process evaluation to affect process improvements. Maintain predictive, clear, and concise communication with stakeholders to build trust and confidence in Corporate Security and Safety.
  • Reporting: Properly track critical data and information for assigned market region(s). Ensure data is maintained per document retention policy. Provide information for reporting purposes on a timely basis.
  • Training/Education: Responsible for the coordination of security and safety related training for assigned market. Provide feedback, insight, and recommendations to ensure consistency of training. Provide training feedback regarding the design and implementation of training curricula.

Expectation Management

  • Vendor Management: Monitor, track, and report on the effectiveness of vendor services. Assist and maintain cooperative and respectful relationships with all parties associated with FNBO Corporate Security and Safety.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Sustain quality assurance by providing clear and concise expectations for design standards, service, product, and project management; conduct periodic QA reviews and document findings. Assist in the development, maintenance, reporting, and administration of the Corporate Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Security Design & Standards: Maintain operational knowledge of security design and security standards as well as critical Corporate Security and Safety operations, systems, and policies.

Professionalism

  • Operational Knowledge: Develop and sustain intimate knowledge of alarm and surveillance system equipment, operations, installation, and design standards. Exhibit understanding of risk, threat, and vulnerably assessment methodologies and emergency management concepts.
  • Integrity: Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Promote and participate in a culture of transparency by utilizing all available resources. Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with departmental/divisional policy. Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role.
  • Audits and Compliance Management: Analyze, research, and assist with the resolution of potential audit/compliance issues by reviewing exposure, remediation plans, and managing to full audit/compliance with applicable rules or regulations. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes or controls as required. Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in the FNN Compliance Accountability Program. Support and assist with Governance, Risk, and Compliance goals and objectives.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in a security related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3-5 years security experience
  • Confident delivering public presentations, equipment demonstrations, and speaking engagements
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in larger groups
  • Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete workloads with overlapping timelines of completion
  • Familiarity with emergency management concepts
  • Skilled at analyzing business needs, identifying gaps, and developing effective solutions
  • Previous experience in the development of highly detailed policies, procedures, and training
  • Previous experience in threat, vulnerability, or risk assessments
  • Working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Desired:

  • Certification in security knowledge by ASIS
  • Certifications in Emergency Management (DHS/FEMA/NEMA)
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
