  1. Title: Supply Chain Management Support Specialist

    Location: Birmingham Alabama 35203 (Onsite)

    Duration 9+ months (Possible Extension)

    Pay Range: $42/hr. - $44/hr.

    Job Summary

    The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Support Specialist provides operational and transactional support to Supply Chain teams. This role supports daily activities by utilizing contracts, sourcing support systems, and established business processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of supply chain activities. The position plays a critical role in maintaining supplier data integrity, contract documentation, and internal customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Manage supplier registration activities, including new supplier setup, updates, and maintenance of supplier information within internal systems.
    • Track and monitor insurance certificates for service contracts, including escalation of renewals to ensure compliance.
    • Draft and process low-risk contractual documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, contract amendments, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
    • Coordinate and process enterprise software renewals.
    • Monitor Maximo contract records for expiration and review dates; collaborate with business units and contract agents to amend, extend, or terminate agreements as appropriate.
    • Maintain and update master contract compliance documentation, including Supplier Contractor Compliance Background Forms and Contractor Statistical Data (EMR).
    • Provide reporting support and maintain accurate data within contract and sourcing systems.
    • Deliver ad hoc support for special projects as assigned.


    Education



    • Bachelor's degree preferred.


    Experience



    • Experience in Supply Chain or related field required.
    • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
    • Experience maintaining data and managing document-sharing platforms.


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced computer proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Strong internal customer focus with a commitment to delivering value.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
    • Strong organizational and workload management skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Collaborative team player.


    Additional Requirements



    • Ability to travel occasionally, which may include overnight stays.
    • Valid driver's license required.
