Have you recently graduated or graduating soon with a degree in Supply Chain, or a related field? Do you enjoy problem-solving, negotiating, and working with data?

We are seeking an entry-level Buyer who will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by helping source the materials and services that keep production moving. This role partners closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials arrive on time and production schedules stay on track.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with experienced Buyers and cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing)

  • Help source and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and capability
  • Prepare RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and evaluate supplier bids
  • Issue purchase orders and supplier agreements with accurate pricing and terms
  • Negotiate price, delivery, quality, and service terms
  • Monitor supplier performance and address delivery or quality issues
  • Support resolution of shipment discrepancies, returns, damage claims, and engineering changes
  • Maintain accurate lead times for assigned commodities
  • Research and develop alternate sources of supply
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to improve lead times and purchasing efficiency
  • Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and aerospace industry procurement regulations

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations completed or graduating within six months of hire
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively
  • Basic understanding of procurement principles and business operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP/MRP systems
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently with general direction

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Internship or work experience in manufacturing or supply chain
  • Knowledge of aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
  • CPM certification (or interest in pursuing one)
