Position Summary

Position Summary

Revise and create drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through Enovia. Support engineers with prototype build plans and design validation test plans.

  • Create and revise drawings and specifications.

  • Create final assembly, sub-assembly and component drawings of new product development projects utilizing 3D CAD software.

  • Timely response to all customer inquiries, while working closely with engineering to meet customer needs.

  • Prepare bills of materials and specifications when drawings are complete.

  • Ensure the initiation, accuracy and maintenance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).

  • Interact closely with both Manufacturing Personnel and Engineers to complete projects.

  • Collaborates in a team environment, supports development of assigned products (e.g. new mechanical or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems) by applying as directed basic engineering principles.

  • Possess, or currently pursuing a college degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree.

  • Ideal candidates will have manufacturing and related engineering experience as well as a sufficient background and technical knowledge to assume responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of drafting practices and GD&T.

  • Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD Inventor, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power BI preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts

  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
