Description Professional - Nonclinical Summary: The Associate Corporate Counsel role is a professional staff attorney assisting the MaineHeaIth General Counsel and other supervising attorneys. The general job responsibility is to provide certain categories of legal services to MaineHeaIth members; in particular, performing legal research; reviewing and drafting agreements; managing claims and litigation; and functioning as a subject matter expert in assigned areas. Responsibilities also include providing advice to managers throughout MaineHeaIth regarding legal and regulatory considerations in patient care and health care operations but on topics more limited than those of more senior attorneys in the Department. Associate Corporate Counsel will also perform other assignments made by the General Counsel or other supervising attorneys. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
