Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Liaison

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Liaison in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control with badge checks and visitor entry, use a computer and/or tablet to document activity, and deliver customer service through clear, respectful communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the food and beverage location, including production areas, storage areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
