As a Security Guard - Entry Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, support screening operations, and complete routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. You will use screening tools and technology, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and deliver customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors for prohibited items using screening equipment and visual inspections in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, maintaining screening logs, and directing personnel to appropriate processing areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as entrances, screening lanes, staging areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
