Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. 6 months experience working with developmentally disabled populations required. Comprehensive training provided You will work 8:00am-4:30p Monday-Friday - No weekends or holidays! *Skills needed* Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and admission/discharge activities. Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing curriculum to staff. We're searching for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD)Services team in Carmichael, CA, where you'll play a vital role supporting adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential program. Duties and Responsibilities include: oversight of LVNs at 4 residential locations. collaborate with doctors and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and assist staff with medical concerns. teach medication certification classes to (Direct Support Professional) DSP staff. spend time between the office at assigned residential program and the 3 other residential facilities, ensuring comprehensive care and support. oversee and monitor medication supplies, follow up on LVN orders. coordinate care for clients. advise DSP staff on the need for urgent care or hospital visits for clients. comprehensive training provided Earn $55/hour.
