What to Expect

The Mobile Equipment Training Team is looking for a highly motivated and energetic trainerto support the training needs of New Hires and existing employees. The TrainingCoordinator will play a critical role in ensuring a positive, safe, efficient, and standardizedtraining experience for all employees operating mobile equipment at Tesla. This rolerequires a strong focus on documentation, communication, and adherence to safetyprotocols. The ideal candidate will have a passion for training, a commitment toexcellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


What You'll Do
  • Identify and manage the training needs of new hires and existing employeesrequiring mobile equipment certification
  • Facilitate and deliver Mobile Equipment Safety training in a classroom setting,ensuring clarity and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with trainees, trainers, leadership, and cross-functionalteams to ensure alignment and support
  • Develop, maintain, and improve training documentation, certification requirements,and training processes (including Experience, Knowledge, and Demonstrated Skillscriteria)
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently to trainees, fellow trainers, leadership,and other cross functional support teams
  • Conduct audits of mobile equipment operators to ensure compliance with safetyprotocols and training standards
  • Create a positive and structured training environment that promotes learning,accountability, and safety

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience operating a variety of mobile equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, tuggers, scissor lifts, articulating lifts, skid steers, mobile cranes, and large forklifts (10k-30k lbs.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintainaccurate records and schedules
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver training, documentprocesses, and collaborate with teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and engage trainees while maintaining a focuson safety and compliance
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and the abilityto remain calm under pressure
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiativewhen needed
