| Job Description |
The Digital Media Studio Aide assists students and faculty in the Film and Digital Media Production program using software and equipment, such as studio and field cameras, microphones, field recorders, lighting, control room switchers, teleprompter, and related software programs.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. |
| Required Education |
High school diploma or
GED equivalent |
| Required Experience |
Minimum of one year of experience using digital video and audio equipment (professional, academic, or equivalent hands-on experience).

| Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
- Working knowledge of TV studio and field equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow through on problem resolution
- Have flexibility in scheduling
- Knowledge of the methods, techniques, principals, and procedures associated with completing projects in area of specialization
- Ability to work and cooperate with students, co-workers and supervisors at all levels
- Ability to work with, within, and promote a diverse workforce and environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to understand and act on oral and written instructions in English
- Ability to communicate with outside vendors

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Associates degree
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite and ProTools
