Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing hospitality furniture projects from order entry through delivery and closeout. This role serves as the primary operational liaison

between sales, clients, designers, sourcing, production, logistics, and finance teams.

You will own schedule, cost, communication, and execution - ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with an exceptional client experience.

This is a highly visible role that directly impacts customer satisfaction, profitability, and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

  • Manage multiple hospitality FF&E projects simultaneously from Purchase Order to completion.
  • Own project timelines, deliverables, and milestones across custom product opportunities.
  • Review purchase orders, specifications, drawings, finishes, COM and quantities for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with sourcing, engineering, production, account managers, quality control, and logistics teams.

Client & Sales Partnership

  • Act as the main point of contact for designers, purchasing agents, ownership groups, sales and other applicable stakeholders
  • Lead project kickoff calls and ongoing status updates.
  • Proactively communicate risks, schedule changes, and solutions.
  • Protect the client experience while balancing cost, lead time, and feasibility.


Financial & Risk Management

  • Track budgets, margins, freight, and change orders.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans.
  • Manage revisions, claims, damages, and lead times.
  • Ensure project documentation and approvals are accurate and complete.


Production & Logistics Coordination

  • Align production schedules with ship windows and install dates.
  • Coordinate domestic and international sourcing timelines.
  • Partner with logistics teams on container planning, warehousing, and site delivery.
  • Support installation teams to ensure smooth site execution.


Process Improvement

  • Help refine project workflows and best practices.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support scalable systems as Bernhardt Hospitality continues to grow.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in hospitality FF&E, furniture manufacturing, interiors, construction, or design-related industries.
  • Strong understanding of custom furniture production and hospitality project flow.




  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, production, and logistics.
  • Proficient in project management systems, Excel, Airtable and ERP platforms.


Preferred Experience

  • Hospitality furniture, casegoods, upholstery, or millwork background.
  • Experience with international sourcing and container logistics.
  • Familiarity with hotel brands, purchasing companies, and design firms.
  • PMP certification is a plus (not required).
