Job Summary:
The Facility Operator is responsible for supporting daily operations related to shipping, mail services, transportation, maintenance, and supplies at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID) building, while also fostering strong working relationships with occupants, vendors, and maintenance teams. This role ensures smooth facility operations by coordinating services, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service. From managing the flow of shipments to supporting daily building activity, you'll be at the center of the action every day! The Facility Operator reports to the Facility Operations Manager within the Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M). In this role you would:
Ongoing/Renewable Full-Time: 100% FTE Hours generally scheduled Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM. Occasional nights, weekends and holidays may be required for this position. Work is performed onsite. Key Job Responsibilities:
