Comprising over 125 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). #FC Responsibilities You will provide part-time Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the PEO IWS Directed Energy (DE) PAPM on ongoing development, testing, and fielding of DE systems. You will keep program leadership current with the latest developments, including developments that could be critical to future Navy DE weapon system programs. You will represent the program to the Science and Technology (S&T) communities and expertly analyze applicability of DE S&T research for appropriate DE weapon missions and infusing advanced technology into PEO IWS programs. You have the ability to work remote or from SPA's office at 20 M St. in Washington, D.C., however you must be able to travel up to 5-10%.
