Overall Summary:

The SalesForce Business Analyst plays a critical role in the management and analysis of sales pipeline and forecast data. This role ensures that the analyses are disseminated throughout the company including to Finance, Operations, and Client Services.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Compile and analyze historical and current sales data to forecast sales trends.





  • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.





  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management.





  • Gather and analyze data to understand problems; address them proactively.





  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments.





  • Ensure that the SalesForce.com sales pipeline and forecast data is entered by the Sales and Account Executive teams in accordance with corporate deadlines. Review sales pipeline and forecast data, validate accuracy, work with members of the Sales and Account Executive teams on any necessary updates to the data.





  • Utilize systems tools and data, meetings with other departments (e.g. Operations and Finance), and additional insights to analyze provided sales pipeline; forecast data ensuring it is aligned with the flow of the products and services through the company according to corporate standards for recognition.





  • Coordinate timely forecast updates for various weekly and monthly meetings.





  • Review monthly actual results against monthly forecast; provide forecast accuracy reporting; review all forecast variances with Sales and Account Executives.





  • Oversee sales pipeline and forecast updates made by members of the Sales and Account Executive teams based on learnings from actual results.





  • Lead periodic team updates of the sales pipeline; keep forecast aligned to regularly scheduled IWCO meetings.





  • Manage the daily communications with the SalesForce.com account team.





  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Salesforce functionality, reports, and dashboards.





  • Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:



  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.





  • Superior oral and written communication skills.





  • Comfortable working with executive leadership.





  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.





  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative; excellent prioritizing skills





  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.





  • Excellent time management.



Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.





  • 3+ years of experience in sales analytics.





  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, expert Excel.





  • 1+ years of experience using CRM tools such as SalesForce.com.



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to work 8 hours consecutively.





  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.





Salary:
The starting salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000.


At IWCO, base pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience, along with factors such as role scope and location.
