TSC is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with an educational and/or industry focus in the analysis and design of Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal hardware for radars/sensors, missile electronics, communication systems or related applications. The role will be located at TSC's Huntsville, Alabama office, supporting the Radar & Precision Weapons Development Operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test mixed-signal, analog, and RF circuits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs
  • Supporting all phases of detailed system and subsystem hardware development activities, including upfront analysis, prototyping and end item development and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments
  • Hands-on lab testing of in-house developed electronics hardware. Common equipment used include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Analysis of measured data from laboratory and/or field testing of in-house developed hardware and systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience in industry
  • Strong desire to learn and implement industry advancements in electronics design
  • Self-motivated and free-thinking individual capable of technical discussion, complex problem solving and scrutinizing prior assumptions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in analysis, design, and testing of mixed-signal and RF systems
  • Experience with schematic design and PCB layout software (Cadence OrCAD Capture, Allegro, or similar)
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as MATLAB or Python
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as Microwave Office or Ansys HFSS

U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes

Eligibility to Obtain a DoD Security Clearance Required for this Position: Yes, Secret.
