In this role, you will support the Project Management and Construction Management Teams on assigned Power Solar projects through late development, design, and execution, while meeting business priorities and applying bestinclass project management practices. What You Will Do:

  • Work alongside the Senior Project Manager to manage all aspects of assigned power projects, including for construction, safety, cost, schedule, and quality.

  • Manage and coordinate the turnover phase of Solar Utility Scale projects.

  • Coordination and resolution of technical issues with engineering team and SMEs

  • Participate in site visits and ensure the effective implementation of construction management processes and procedures (specifications, inspection procedures, quality assurance program, materials management program, EH&S requirements, cost and schedule management, etc.)

  • Provides project data and inputs for various internal and external project stakeholder reporting deliverables

  • Assures effective scope management is implemented including scope definition, verification, and timely communication of potential scope changes.

Who You Are:

  • Engineering degree in related field (such as Electrical, Civil or Mechanical).

  • 0-2 years of work experience.

  • Project management capabilities to optimally prioritize different projects to meet deliverables and deadline requirements while managing partner expectations.

  • Effective communication and organizational skills.

  • Interpersonal skills which includes the ability to take direction from, and work with, various partners.

  • Customer-focused and dedicated approach.

  • Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Valid passport to travel and work in the US and Canada.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based position.

  • 25-50% travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
