The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our organization's customer data within the CRM and ERP systems. This role will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining data quality standards, policies, and procedures to support data governance and compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and organize customer data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

  • Act as the gatekeeper for all teams requesting account creation within the sales CRM system and manage consistency of data within the ERP system.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data inconsistencies, patterns, trends, and correlations in large data sets.

  • Collaborate with teams to implement data management strategies and validation mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Support the identification and resolution of data anomalies, working closely with stakeholders to address issues promptly.

  • Extract reliable data from various data sources to identify key insights and opportunities/challenges that our clients should action.

  • Manage hierarchical details surrounding contacts, locations, and accounts.

  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide accurate and actionable recommendations.

  • Create nomenclature rules for consistent and clean data creation.

  • Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to convey data quality issues and recommended solutions.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data entry processes to enhance precision and efficiency.

  • Accurately identify new and innovative data that can be used to improve existing models and processes.

  • Ensure all data captured has been collected, validated, and uploaded via established processes and controls to maintain accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

  • 2+ years of data analytics experience; leading multiple projects of various scope/complexity from initiation to closeout, with data quality as a focus.

  • Exceptional data expertise in all aspects of data analysis, insights creation, and visualization.

  • Advanced skills in CRM and ERP systems.

  • Strong flexibility to work with a variety of application development tools.

  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented, adaptive, and client-focused mindset.

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks with tight timelines.

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and crafting solutions without defined guidelines.

  • Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to excel under time constraints and pressure.
