What to Expect Join our dynamic team as a Prevailing Wage Analyst, where you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in wage tracking for construction projects. Expect a collaborative environment focused on prevailing wage compliance expertise, including proven experience with regulations like the Davis-Bacon Act, in-depth certified payroll knowledge, and job classification/pay verification skills. You'll manage prevailing wages for the TSP (Technical Services and Projects) team, with an emphasis on Electrical Licensed Journeymen and Apprentices across multiple projects. Reporting to the TSP Electrical Team, you'll work closely with our staffing agency (SST), the Project Controls Team, and timekeepers (who handle time entry and provide timecards) to organize datasets, conduct audits, generate reports, integrate data from various systems, and maintain regulatory accuracy in a fast-paced, multi-project setting. What You'll Do Track and monitor prevailing wage rates for multiple projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Davis-Bacon Act or similar), with a focus on Electrical Licensed Journeymen and Apprentices Organize datasets, conduct audits, and generate/send reports to verify accurate wage reporting across various projects, collaborating with the TSP Electrical Team, SST staffing agency, and Project Controls Team Work closely with timekeepers to review and verify time entries and timecards, ensuring they align with prevailing wage requirements and compliance standards Combine and reconcile data from multiple sources to support compliance efforts for concurrent projects Develop and enhance Excel-based tools, automations, and dashboards to improve wage tracking efficiency across multiple initiatives Perform regular data audits to minimize errors and ensure all information is reported correctly for all assigned projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, finance, project management, SST, Project Controls, and timekeepers) to maintain compliant processes in a multi-project setting What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience Knowledge of Texas minimum wage laws (state, city, county) and federal standards (e.g., FLSA, Davis-Bacon Act) 3-5+ years of experience in Texas labor compliance and certified payroll Hands-on experience preparing and submitting Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) Working knowledge of Texas/federal prevailing wage law, TWC requirements and wage determinations, and apprenticeship compliance basics Certified payroll processing Compliance documentation and recordkeeping Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on compliance in public works or infrastructure projects Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
